MSP Training in the Public Sector
While some programmes are national or international and involve huge budgets, programme management is also highly effective when used at the local level. The delivery of local services is now extremely complex, involving as it does an interlinking network of service providers; local authorities, NHS trusts, schools, police forces, voluntary agencies and so on.
MSP is an enormous help in allowing stakeholders to understand the dynamics of the various relationships in modern local initiatives. It helps involved parties understand the true benefits that can be achieved as a result of strategic change and allows them to put together straightforward and coherent projects to deliver essential enabling outputs.
AFA has delivered in-house MSP training for both individual public sector bodies that are participating in wider programmes and to groups that are co-operating to deliver public sector programmes.
