ITIL Training Courses
ITIL is the only consistent and comprehensive documentation of best practice for IT Service Management. Used by many hundreds of organisations around the world, a whole ITIL philosophy has grown up around the guidance contained within the ITIL books and the supporting professional qualification scheme. There are many ITIL training courses available which vary in emphasis. ITIL consists of a series of books giving guidance on the provision of quality IT services, and on the accommodation and environmental facilities needed to support IT. It embodies best practices for IT Service Management.
The ethos behind the development of ITIL is the recognition that organisations are becoming increasingly dependent on IT in order to satisfy their corporate aims and meet their business needs. This leads to an increased requirement for high quality IT services.
Available ITIL training
AFA has delivered accredited training for over 10 years and due to customer demand have added ITIL Service Management. Courses available are; ITIL Foundation Course Covers the content of the ITIL V3 Foundation syllabus and prepares delegates to take the Foundation exam; especially beneficial for those individuals who have responsibility for designing and/or implementing Best Practice solutions for IT Service Management.
ITIL Overview Gives delegates an insight into the use and terminology of the ITIL method. Suitable for all levels of IT staff but being a non-technical course it is also suitable for non-IT staff whose effectiveness would be enhanced by a greater awareness and understanding of best practices in IT service management.
ITIL Senior Management Seminar Introduces delegates to areas of ITIL that are relevant to their organisation, including senior managers considering the introduction of ITIL Service Management into their organisation.
