Visit this years Best Practice Showcase at the QEII in London on Tuesday 23rd June 2009, where AFA are again one of the main sponsors.

The Best Practice Showcase is always a major event in a project managers diary and this year is no exception. Although the format will change slightly for 2009 with more emphasis on Bird's of a Feather discussion sessions, the quality of speakers and facilitators is yet again to reach new levels.

AFA are running three separate BoFs over 5 sessions, these include;

P3O (Portfolio, Programme & Project Office) We will give a quick overview of P3O focussing on how the method has become accepted within the market over the past 6 months and the ways in which it can help your organisation. Then, using our exclusive Change Management Practices Assessment Tool we will help you quantify your knowledge of Best Practice. How is Best Practise is Evolving with PRINCE2 2009 With the imminent release of PRINCE2 2009 we will look at how the changes may effect the other Best Practice methods as well as you and your business.

Benefits Management in the real world Working through a group scenario you will learn to spot poorly defined and in-appropriate benefits and then go on to analyse and improve your approach. It is anticipated that the session will cover indicator measurements, cost of direct measurements and base lining amongst other tools.
