AFA will now be running all M_o_R open courses on the new 2010 updated guidance, which has only recently been released by OGC.

AFA is delighted to announce that with effect from this month all our M_o_R risk management training will be run using comprehensively updated courseware. These changes have been brought about by the release in December 2010 of a new version of the OGC publication ‘Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners’. The latest version of the M_o_R guidance was released along with updated exam papers from APMG.

The AFA team has worked hard during the last few weeks to ensure that all this revised information is encapsulated in AFA’s M_o_R course material. Managing director Alan Ferguson is quoted as saying ‘These updates reflect latest thinking across many industries, including financial services and organisations working in safety critical environments’.

As an added benefit for delegates AFA is also pleased to announce the release of the M_o_R Atrium. This provides delegates with online access to additional course materials including:

• The M_o_R Model
• An overview of M_o_R
• Candidate guidance and syllabus
• Sample exam papers

AFA has many years of experience of training delegates in the M_o_R guidance as well as in other Best Practice guidance such as PRINCE2 and MSP. And in the near future we will be launching training offerings covering the very latest guidance to emerge from OGC – ‘MoP: Management of Portfolios’.
