Dealing with change, and more importantly, the impact of change, is a high priority for all organisations. Therefore, the APM Group have changed the format of the qualification to increase its desire.

Building on the concepts of Esther Cameron and Mike Green's book "Making Sense of Change Management: 2nd Edition" this updated course has been developed, with the help of People Alchemy, to help organisations and individuals come to terms with the reality of change. For those who have already taken the previous 'Principles of Change Management' exam, you will notice a big change to the format of the course. AFA ran a Principles of Change Management course over 4 days, with the exam taking place on the last afternoon. Since its new release, the Change Management qualification has become more appealing to all those thinking about taking the course. The format now runs very similarly to PRINCE2 and M_o_R, with the foundation part of the course running over the first three days and the foundation & practitioner combined course running over 5 days. A conversion course can be taken, which will take you from the foundation level to the practitioner level. This course runs for the last two days of an open course.

You may be wondering what happens if you took the old style exam? This means that you are qualified to foundation level and you will only need to sit the Conversion course to become a registered practitioner.
